The predominantly tilt panel walls were enhanced with contrasting feature brick/stone cladding and clever use of lighting to create a warm and inviting façade. The use of horizontal banding reduced the impact of the building mass, to integrate with the mixed use commercial / residential environment.
The building features two busy dining facilities on the ground floor corner and careful attention to materials and finishes has resulted in a very attractive and popular environment. Our happy clients believe the building has become a prominent new landmark within the busy Riseley Street precinct in Ardross.
The project is located on a busy suburban intersection requiring careful supervision to minimize disruption to pedestrians and traffic throughout the construction programme. Significant differences in levels created retaining wall issues with adjoining land owners, which were amiably resolved before commencing work on site. Discretely positioned water tanks are located under the car park to meet fire safety regulations.
The restaurant and casual dining areas are finished to a high specification and the use of French doors to much of the façade has allowed year round dining comfort. The office areas are a mix of fully finished areas with full height glazing and air conditioning, with other spaces finished to a nominated level to allow tenants to customise the design with their chosen office layout.
