Prominent design feature
The building is a combination of architectural designed structural steel, vertical wall claddings and precast concrete panels. The main features externally are the curved steel roofs, curved walls, curved curtain walls with CFC claddings.

Construction features
The building is like four buildings thrown together. With this design came several issues associated with the steelwork engineering and design. There were also issues with clashes between the services and the structural elements. There was a lot of re-design required through the construction process and despite this Gavin Construction will be completing this project five weeks ahead of programme.

Internal features
This building is made up of two storey office, a fully equipped theatre and sound recording studio, café and restaurant. The entry foyer has a curved skylight and feature ceiling. The theatre and recording studio has acoustic perforated timber feature wall paneling manufactured on site by Gavin Constructions team of carpenters. The office for City of Cockburn community staff are of an executive finish.
