Office showroom and warehouse facility

Prominent design feature
The building design incorporates thoughtful use of colour and feature panels to create an attractive yet economic design highlight to the building's facade. The passive solar efficiency is a special feature achieved through carefully designed awnings, providing shade to the office and showroom. The owner has retained the ability to contract the size of the warehouse by 50% through installation of additional services at the rear of the building.

Construction features
The design brief was to maximise the net usable space, whilst minimizing the construction time. This was achieved through the use of tilt-up concrete panels. Air-conditioning ducting has been contained within floating bulkheads suspended from the ceilings, which were also used to provide mood lighting to display areas.

Internal features
The interior has been designed to incorporate the client's display requirements and to provide an open working environment, whilst providing integration with the staff amenities and warehouse section of the building.
